Why do you offer your artworks framed only in Gold, Silver, and Black Neilsen frames?

Because our artworks are so unique and original, we want the frames themselves to enhance each artwork rather than competing with the artwork. From time immemorial gold and platinum have been the worldwide earmarks of elegance and exceptional value. We want our artworks to be similarly recognizable as the elegant and unique artworks available only from PhotosForGifts.com. If you were having a ring set with diamonds, you would in all likelihood narrow the choice of metal down to either gold, platinum, or silver; anything else would simply detract from the unique elegance of the diamond itself. A silver frame has an elegant appearance similar to that of platinum. Since platinum frames would be relatively expensive, we are instead making silver frames available for our artworks, along with gold frames and black frames. We are offering black Nielsen frames because for some artworks black framing also easily recedes into the visual background and focuses the viewer’s attention on the elegance of the featured artwork itself.

May I purchase a Prayer For Children™ or a Prayer For Grandchildren™ that refers to a child by his or her own name, or that lists our own names (or ones by which we are known to the child) as the grantor(s) of the gift?

Yes, you may do that. We have personalized both Prayers in the past, and we will be honored to personalize your Prayer. If the name of the child you wish to recognize is not longer than “all children” or “grandchildren” (i.e., is not longer than 13 characters), there will be no extra charge for the change. If the name of the child you wish to recognize is substantially longer than 13 characters, the text of the entire document will re-flow and will require some careful re-design work. Please use our Contact Us link to indicate the name of the child that you wish to have inserted, and we will respond as to whether any additional cost will be incurred. With the same caveats, you may also request that your own name(s) be inserted as the grantor(s) of the gift.

May I have my own photos inserted into a special Prayer For Children™ or Prayer For Grandchildren™?

Yes, you may also do that. However, your photo must be a high resolution photo (of at least 600 dpi) and preferably in digital format. Depending upon the quality of your photo and the design work required to place it in any of the Prayers, we will be glad to personalize your Prayer with your own photos. Please use our Contact Us link to request this level of personalization, and we will respond as to the extent of any additional cost that might be incurred.

Are the photographs and quotations featured on PhotosForGifts.com also available on greeting cards?

Many eventually will be. We are developing an affiliate website, EliteGreetingCards.com, that will feature many of the same photographs and quotations as those appearing on PhotosForGifts.com™ plus additional photographs and quotations. EliteGreetingCards.com will be launched probably within the next six months. If you have a present need for greeting cards with the same elegance as the artworks featured on PhotosForGifts.com, please use our Contact Us link to express that interest, and we will be glad to explore with you the possibility of our preparing a special pre-launch edition of the greeting cards that will eventually be featured on EliteGreetingCards.com.

May I send you my own photograph and ask that you pair it with a suitable quotation?

Yes, you may—provided that the photograph is in digital format and is of high quality. Please use our Contact Us link to request this level of personalization, and we will respond concerning the extent of any additional costs that may be incurred and concerning any possible copyright issues. We reserve the option to decline any inappropriate photograph or quotation.

Is 24-hour delivery of your artworks available?

Orders are typically prepared and shipped within five (5) business days of their receipt—with no shipping charges. You may, however, request special expedited delivery for which there will be an additional shipping charge, depending upon the size of your order and the location to which the artworks are to be shipped.
